David Loren Becker passed away Thursday, June 24th 2021. He had a courageous battle with lung cancer since October of 2020. A Celebration of Life will be on July 17, 2021 starting at noon, with Service at 1 followed by a light lunch at the Assembly of God Church in Willmar.
Dave was born on September 16th, 1958 to Donald and Susan Becker in Minneapolis, MN. He attended Robbinsdale High school and enjoyed writing for his school paper, performing in the drama club, staying active with tennis and swimming. He also enjoyed singing for his school choir and barbershop quartet. He attended the University of Minnesota, then pursued a career in car and insurance sales, until he decided to do over the road trucking. He loved to golf, playing poker and other games with family and friends and singing in the West Central Connection chorus.
He is survived by his Wife, Laura; Son, Jeff(Melissa); Daughters, Amanda and Dana(Dylan); Grandchildren, Liam and Gage; Brother Steve and many other family members and friends by whom he will be sorely missed.
Dave was preceded in death by his Father, Donald; Mother, Susan; Grandparents, Harold and Evelyn; Grandmother, Katherine.
