Michelle, Allison, and Darrell's awesome family(Ohana) our prayers are with you all. So sad for our loss and Heaven's gain in Darrell's passing. He glorified God in his life and his passing. He was my first and best friend in Aggieland, a great roommate who helped make A&M and Moore Hall home. His friendship supported me there and during my Houston marathon success in 1991. No matter how much time passed between our visits, our friendship resumed as if we were still A&M roommates. As his friendship supported many of us in Aggieland and during marathons, I know that he now encourages and supports us in heaven and will be welcoming us when we join him in at our appointed time. I am confident that Darrell will find Heaven's best running trails and surf breaks for us. May we be inspired by Darrell's and his family's courage in our challenges and my God be glorified in them.
