Life is precious and it's seems we have had too many reminders of that lately. I'm so sorry to have to tell you that my mom, Darlene has passed away early this morning at 3:40am. She passed in her sleep with the help of medications to keep her comfortable. She was admitted into Prairie Lakes Hospital in Watertown in the early hours of Wednesday morning, November 1st. She had been rapidly declining since a CT scan last week showed multiple nodules in her liver, a large mass in her pancreas and many blood clots in her lungs. Even after receiving the news she kept her chin up and tried to remain positive always saying "we will get through this". My dad has been amazing throughout their journey and will undoubtedly miss her as the rest of us will too. She was a one-of-kind "positive energy" in this universe of negativity. We love you and will miss you mom!
