Thank you, brother Chuck, for the update on Darlene and for your insightful post (actually all of them). I’m so thankful for how well Darlene is doing and I know she will continue to gain strength, by the grace of God. Your post has really got me thinking about those fragments and the ripple effect Darlene’s battle with Covid has had, not only in me, but in countless others. My prayer life is richer, praying more fervently, for Darlene and for others also. I believe our church prayers are more frequent and intense. I see people who don’t know her praying for her and asking about how she is doing. Through suffering and turmoil, God has drawn us closer to Him and knitted us more closely as brothers and sisters. Your demeanor and words through this ordeal have modeled Christ for us all and we are blessed by that. May God use all the fragments in our lives to strengthen us in Him as we move into this new year. God bless.
