I thought of you and missed you today. We had WMF at Maranatha this morning and it brought back the wonderful memories I have of sweet fellowship with you and our dear friends at Resurrection FLC. Our WMF meetings were always precious to me. We would laugh and cry and pray and study God’s word together and bonded as sisters in Christ .. I miss you and I love you, dear friend.
I went to a christian women's conference on Saturday and one of the messages was about how those who do nothing, sit in shallow water, those who serve Him are usually in deep water therefore needing an anchor to steady us. That anchor being Jesus. I thought of Harold and you so many times that day. You two have left many many seeds of fruitfulness to our community. The weeks Harold spent mentoring Darrell in hopes of his sobriety and salvation will never be forgotten and I thank you for sitting through that trial with me. The love that was evidenced to the elderly was always your gift, and the love you have for your family will never be forgotten. They are so blessed to have you! Love Carole
