As many of you know, Darla had some heart testing in October, 2018 after a routine echo cardiogram showed some problem activity with her mitral valve. The testing was very thorough and it showed some leaking in her mitral valve and some problems with her tricuspid  valve. After much thought and consultation with her cardiac team and family she decided to go ahead with surgery that was scheduled for January 15, 2019.
