Praise the Lord! We have seen this happen many times and can point to these merged families with great testimonies. One outstanding example is Russ and Nancy Ebersole currently retired with ABWE. They have written a book with their experiences. It is a great read.

Rejoicing to read this news to the world.....as I have had a deep love and care in my heart for both of your families (as I sat at Katie's funeral 3 years ago....marveling at Katie's life as I heard testimony after testimony of her godly example, love for her family and friends, the priority of the Word of God in her life)...and as I just sat at Dan's funeral in November (knowing Dan's character back to Moody Bible days, his wisdom, his love for Jesus...and Kristy's character as we lived together in Chicago (what a great roommate she was to me!!!!), seeing how Kristy and Dan took every suffering as a mercy from the Lord, as a privilege because of Christ's example. I rejoiced at both of their funerals at the legacy that they left....and that they were FAITHFUL examples of finishing well in even suffering...in a day of much unfaithfulness even in ease.
I stand in awe of our AWESOME GOD who alone can orchestrate such things!!!! All praise to Him!!! REJOICING from WHEATON, IL with a full heart of great joy!!!!

Feeling sheer joy for both of you! I was impressed with each of you upon first meeting... you, in 2011, as a godly mom of of a daughter with special needs and Norm, around 2003 when he shared in Andrea’s home as a Nav staffer at UWEC... he’s got to be the quirkiest vivacious guy out there! 😉💕👏🏻...and really special for Spenser to be impacted by both of you!
