Kristy, I just read your post and I was so moved! I love how Norman expresses the kind of God we serve. (I just lost my dad to heaven this morning and the grief and joy (for him) are both real.) Congratulations!!! Thanks for sharing. There is nothing so uplifting than to read or hear about actual encounters and experiences that only God could have orchestrated. The desire He placed in a friend’s heart to introduce you, the timing and the compatibility of two hearts in ministry is overwhelming evidence of God’s hand at work. I wish and pray for God’s best as you move forward and prepare to blend two families into one. May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing so that, by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope. Romans 15:13

As Kristy and only a few others know, just before Christmas I woke up in the middle of the night and I had this “vision” (lowercase “v”) of a widower with 3 kids coming into your life...I guess sort of Brady Bunch style. And about that time Tytus and I collaborated on his Christmas gift to Kristy (a 3D cutout "Joy" that he selected at Target, we painted, and upon which we wrote Psalm 30:5. “Weeping may tarry for the night, but joy comes with the morning”. Norman and Kristy had not yet met, but God had laid that same passage on Norman's heart. Should we be surprised? That art now sits on the table just inside Kristy's house. Nice work, Tytus!

I know that Norman's and Kristy's relationship may come as a surprise to many. I know it did to us, in a stunningly beautiful way. Only God knows and determines how long "the night" lasts. Some nights are long. Some are short. But regardless, there’s no stopping God from making the sun rise...and joy with it. We're so excited with and for you Kristy and Norman and families. Only God could weave this tapestry. Thank you, God. You are worthy of much worship.

Our family is now following your story because we love the Hubbard’s and the Hanson’s. What affects them is so very important to us. We are so thankful for the next step in Norman and his family’s life. You are so fortunate to have the influence and counsel of these authentic and wise Christians. God does make all things beautiful in His time.
