November 2019 - Posting now, to let you all know that I think of Dan and his family often. Life being what it is, in these past years, there have been more people that I have followed on Caring Bridge - and I always think of Dan and his family - so I thought I'd let you know. It's bittersweet that it was Dan's illness that allowed us to reconnect (thanks to David Odegard), but I treasure the time for getting to know one another. Thanks so much for sharing. I somehow found your Caring Bridge when my husband was dealing with Multiple Myeloma. He was diagnosed 3/30/10 and passed away 11/18/16. I appreciate your thoughts. I am impressed by your promises to yourself and your commitment to them! Peace, Jen

In person, I knew you and Dan separately, before there was a "you and Dan." This new being was known to me only through your words and Dan's and the images of your life together that you shared with us. And you, Dan and "you and Dan" are so gifted and generous with words and images that we are able to know each other through them and share the emotions behind them. Dear Tib,
So good to hear from you! After I sent you that series of emails from Dan to me, shortly after he passed away, I stopped hearing from you, and I thought you just needed time away. I didn't wish to intrude on what was/and is a very private time. That is why I didn't write again. Thanks for posting to us on this site. I'm so sorry you lost him so young. Please do email me if you'd like to stay in touch? I'd love to hear from you. I hope your mom, girls, and Zoe and Peter are all okay. And Arlo! (I hope I am remembering his name correctly?) My dear Tib. Three things come to mind after reading this. I love you. You were perfect for Dan, and he for you. And three, I understand. Mike has been gone for 15 years and I talk to him every day, and he talks to me. He guides me from above and I usually laugh as I hear more times than I care to admit “Let it go, Noreen.” Dan would be so proud of you. I am proud to know you and grateful that you and Dan let me in to see the love you shared. May all good things continue to be in your life. The hard days are there to remember what we once had was so worthwhile. Peace to you always. Thank you for sharing.
