Dan’s Story

Site created on July 7, 2020

Welcome to Dad’s CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your prayers, support and words of hope and encouragement. We love you. Thank you for visiting. Please feel free to share this page as you like.

What happened:

On July 5th, Dad and Linda were riding on their Razr in Gallatin Gateway. They were t-boned by an incoming vehicle in an intersection as they tried to cross Highway 191.

Initially Dad and Linda were brought by ambulance to Bozeman Deaconess for medical evaluation. Dad sustained broken ribs, collapsed lung, and broken facial bones. The facial injuries were too extensive for doctors in Montana, so both he and Linda were flown to Salt Lake City about 11pm that evening.

Linda was evaluated in SLC and was admitted for broken ribs, a collapsed lung, and broken shoulder.

See below for updates since then.

Newest Update

Journal entry by Sarah Meade

We headed home Saturday (7/18) morning, Dad and Linda are finally back in Bozeman to heal. His doctor appointments went really well Friday (7/17), and although he has a long road ahead of him, he has a really promising recovery ahead.

Again, I can’t thank everyone enough for your support, words of prayer and well wishes. I will try to update this periodically as he recovers. Please keep them in your prayers!

Love to you all!
