Dan’s Story

Site created on March 19, 2021

There’s no one who loves tennis more than Dan Lachman.  From his days as a professional wheelchair player to more than twenty years of clinics, coaching and lessons, Dan has spread the joy of tennis through his endlessly positive attitude.  After many years of feeding hundreds of thousands of balls, Dan’s shoulder has gotten to the point where it needs a total replacement.  As you can imagine, a surgery of this magnitude will impact Dan’s life significantly over the next several months, and he will need a lot of support to eventually get back out on the court.  So let's all help Dan navigate this incredibly challenging journey.  You can use this site to share words of encouragement, offer financial assitance, schedule a time to visit, etc.  Thank you so much for your support and encouragement!
