We were deeply saddened to learn that Daniel passed away today. Our most heartfelt condolences to his family and friends. Clancy’s won’t be the same without him . He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. May his memory forever be a blessing.
I am so heartbroken to hear this. I really wanted Daniel to make it. I have loved knowing him since our days at Bayona years ago. I loved seeing him and catching up when I would come back to visit NOLA. He always called me sunshine. ☀️ I will never forget his beaming smile and wonderful spirit. You were taken from us much too soon. I am deeply saddened and extremely angry. So many deaths from COVID 19 could have been prevented if our national, state and local political leadership would have taken strong and decisive action that was so desperately needed to keep us all safe. You were a treasure Daniel, a Prince among men, one of the kindest, most generous, and authentic people I have ever known.
I know you would appreciate my anger, and I will continue to fight the willful ignorance that abounds and educate those people who do not take this pandemic seriously. You were not supposed to die. You were an inspiration and loved by so many.
We all must take action and make our voices heard about the injustice that continues to permeate our country. So many people are sick, so many people are continuing to die from this terrible virus. We must work to ensure Daniel's death was not in vain.
