Welcome to my CaringBridge website. I am using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. I appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.  


I was diagnosed with Stage 3 Colon cancer the fall of 2021 and it totally came as a shock given the lack of cancer in my family history.  I was fortunate that I went in to get tested when I did, or my prognosis could have been a lot worse.  It has been quite the experience thus far as I recently started my chemotherapy and have high hopes that things will work out for the best.

So doctor just called to go over the results of CT scan.  She said that everything looks really good and there are no signs/spots of concern.  It is the best we can ask for she said.  So going forward it will be follow up visits every 3 months and CT scans every 6 months.  And just the colonoscopy in Sept to double check if there is anything of concern.
