But the most humbling thing you leave with us is the hope and faith you have in Christ. No matter the odds. I am sad for you and encouraged at the same time. Thank you for your willingness to share your thoughts with us. We love you and keep praying for you and your whole family.

When I sat next to you in choir I could hear your beautiful singing voice. That was during a time of joyful worship. Now, during a time of great trial for you I learn you have a gift for writing. Powerful imagery, humor, pain, sadness are conveyed in your comments. You bring us along with you as you face this disease head on.

As I read your post I am reminded of times when I have received communion and the words, “Christ’s body, broken for you,” were spoken to me as I received the bread. I guess I am just reminded that God loves and uses broken bodies. I think I needed to hear that for myself today as I am tired from travel and very aware of brokenness and limitations. I love you. Strength to strength until we arrive in Zion.

Continuing to pray for you and your family through this! You have a great sense of humor about this procedure in the midst of it's severity! Praying God's peace would continue to fuel your trust in him even with fire probes and scorching situations!
