I thank everyone who made it possible for me to watch this beautiful service from my home here in Chicago. A truly moving tribute to a life well lived ... to a good and faithful servant ... a hero to so many ... a human who was inherently good ... someone who had optimism toward life ... believed in Santa Claus ... shared his qualities through physical expressions in the world and was the embodiment of his favorite phrase, "That's just what you do." These are merely a "few" of the many tributes I took away from the loving memories shared. I knew Dan through my beloved friend, Becky, as well as the holiday letters penned by a different family member each year. It's obvious that Dan's spirit already lives on in all who knew and loved him. I send heartfelt hugs and prayers for peace as you go forth in life’s journey with your chins up. Becky I so wish I had known sooner and been living closer. I'll be in touch. ❤️
