Dan’s Story

Hello and thank you for coming to the CaringBridge site for my husband, Dan Austin.  
Dan was diagnosed with (breakthrough) Covid on 
November 10th. On the 18th, he was taken to the ER and admitted to the hospital as the disease progressed.   On Sunday, November 21st, his lungs became 75-80% inflamed  and had to be taken to the ICU and put on a ventilator. We wanted to put this site together as a central location for updates on Dan as he begins his journey to recovery and coming home to us, as soon as possible. 


Thank you for stopping by and  we ask that you please keep Dan in your prayers as he moves towards recovering.  Thank you!

Hello! 

Dan is making such great progress at Courage Kenny that he is being discharged this Friday! He’ll have a few weeks of outpatient but he will be home for Christmas! Just wanted to share the good news :)

All of your support has meant the world to us. This will be my own last update at this point. Thank you all again and our whole family wishes you a happy, healthy Christmas and New Year!
