Dan’s Story

Site created on October 23, 2018

I was diagnosed with colon cancer on September 10th, 2018. It WILL NOT change the way I live my life. I have supportive family and friends to help me through this. I will be healed!

Journal entry by Dan Gorenschek

Just finished 3rd chemo treatment today. Nothing new to report, but minimal side effects. Fatigue and sensitivity to cold being the most prominent. See the doctor next appt, so hopefully good news.
Had a great thanksgiving at Josh & Andreas. All the food was excellent. They did such a good job, I'm grooming them to host every year😁! I was worried I wouldn't hve an appetite, but it was all good.
Andrea had surgery, so we had the kids over the weekend. We went to see the Christmas lights Friday night. That was fun.
Saturday Surprise had a festival, so we all went. They had rides, exhibits, and food. The kids had a good time. Lisa and I                 were pooped out after they went home, but we love having them.
        Thats all for now.
         Thanks everyone!
