Three months ago - Dan, Danyell, and their three children (ages 7, 4, and ten months old) were living their best life; raising their kids, enjoying their beautiful home, growing in faith, all of the things that a normal young couple would aspire to do in life. Flourishing!
In February, they all had Covid 19, but thankfully recovered well from that. Shortly after, Dan started to develop a yellow tint to his skin and wasn’t feeling well so went to see the doctor. After multiple tests and scans, he was officially diagnosed on 2/26 with Stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer which had spread to his liver and lymph nodes. Devastating and heartbreaking news, especially for a man in his mid-40’s.
Dan was immediately started on chemo and immunotherapy. He fought hard for his wife and children, but this Cancer was extremely aggressive. He was hospitalized on April 17th, and battled there for 11 more days before the Lord called him home on April 28th - just two months after it all began.
Dan was an adoring husband, a wonderful father and the sole provider for his family. He will truly be missed by many, many friends and family who were blessed to know him.
Please join us on Wednesday, May 12th from 4-9pm at Robert’s to help support Danyell and their three beautiful children as they face and begin to look to the future during this incredibly difficult time.
Robert’s Frozen Custard will donate a significant portion of all sales between 4pm and 9pm. The bigger the turnout, the larger the percentage! PLEASE SHARE, invite everyone you can, and remind close to this date to make this a successful event for this family!
