Hey friends! I just wanted to give a quick update. Last week I had a CT scan and it showed a slight decrease in one of the tumors on my liver and some spots that they had seen back in March are gone so the chemo is working!! On Wednesday 06/16 I’ll be admitted into KU for a high dose chemotherapy that they administer over four days so I’ll stay in the hospital for at least 5 to 7 days so they can monitor me. The side effects are possible urinary bleeding, hallucinations, memory loss or confusion, and seizures. The oncologist said they are only able to use this chemo treatment plan for 6-8 months since it’s so hard on the body. I appreciate so much of your continued support, cards, and prayers!! It all means so much to me.
