Beautifully said, Heather! Dan was an amazing person, and will be greatly missed! May God hold and comfort you and your family! I will not be able to be there, I will be in Kenosha, WI, watching 3 of our grand daughters, Jon and Janet are on a missions trip. Praying for you!

I have not met you, Heather, or Dan but your story and your faith Journey has also touched my life. I have prayed for you at times over the last couple years and in the past week. You have represented Dan so beautifully and you also, are truly a special person with God's love flowing through you. Praying for God's continued peace in your life and the lives of your children.

I’ll never forget the time when Dan asked people on this CB site to pray for me and Jan L., his two “sisters” in Christ who were also dealing with stage 4 cancer. When I read that post , I truly knew that Dan was a very, very special guy. How considerate!!!

Unfortunately, Ron and I will be vacationing in Florida through the middle of May so we won’t be able to see and hug you at the funeral this Saturday. Our hearts and prayers and love are with you, however. You are just as amazing and special as Dan. God bless you, sweetie! ❤️

Heather and Girls, and all who know and love Dan,
My heart goes out to all of you now and in the time ahead as you mourn and remember Dan.
May Heavenly Fathers love and grace fill you with peace and comfort as we remember that you will see Dan again and he will know each of you and remember and love you. Just as Heavenly Father does now.

I would consider it an honor to attend the "heaven bound" celebration of Dan's but we are in Texas and won't be home until mid May. I will be with you all in spirit, as we have that bond as brothers and sisters in Christ!

Your writings about Dan were just beautiful. I did not know him but I did through you. I am a friend of Kathy. She and my daughters went to high school together. Thank you for sharing your families trip through taking Dan back to his eternal home. My prayers are with your whole family.

Reading about the kind of man Dan was rings so true. Though we have never met the life he lived was very much Christ-like. His taking time away with God asking people to send prayer requests, even though he was fighting cancer was inspiring to me. I am not sure that would be my first thought. A true Man of God.
I would love to be there Saturday, but it just not possible.
You will be in my thoughts and prayers as you begin this new journey.
