Dear Amy, Tim and Paula as well as Dan's family world wide, you are so much in my thoughts and prayers. I will continue to ask for His peace and sleep for all of you. There is comfort knowing the Great Comforter and that you will one day meet again. There is rejoicing in Heaven as Dan is serving his Savior in person today. My heart aches for you, my tears flow for you, yet I am singing for you and for Dan. Due to an important family responsibility I will be unable to come to the memorial but you will be in my thoughts and prayers at that time and I will get there to pay my respects at some time. Love, hugs, prayers, Carla B

Lois and I are glad that Dan went to his eternal home so peacefully. Wish we could attend his memorial service. We'll be praying for the family as you process this and grieve. Godless you and keep you in His everlasting arms.

What a blessing to have known a man who both "walked the walk and talked the talk." That was Dan. May his tribe increase!
Paula, Tim, and Amy, Carol and I pray for abundant grace from our Great God to give you much needed rest.
Love in the Lamb,
Mark Killam

I am so thankful that I had the opportunity to meet Dan and Paula at Beulah Beach while Paula, Fran Doty, and myself along with others in our cohort were attending spiritual retreats from spring 2014 to March 2017. I enjoyed the fellowship with Paula during those 3 yrs, and Dan
came along a few times so I chatted with him as well. Dan became sick during those 3 yrs., but when we finished last year he was doing much better. God gave him strength to endure the illness until his wok was finished here on earth. I rejoice with Paula and the family that Can is with his Lord and Savior now. I will continue to pray for God's comfort during the days ahead. He is always faithful to us as his children.

It is impossible to know of Dan’s passing without some tears on my part. Yet there is also joy in knowing he is with Jesus. Our history goes back so many years, since Pine Hills and when Paula and I were housemates in Ferndale before getting married. Because of the distance our get togethers since then have been few and far between but always treasured. We have been inspired by Dan’s continued commitment to young people through YFC and have felt honored to be a part of his support team. We continue to pray for your family for the peace and comfort only the Lord can give at such a great loss.

As you process your Dads home going know he wants you to live life to the fullest and always put God First. He was quite the example of that. He had left a beautiful legacy to you all!
May you all rest peacefully tonight knowing all is well.
Our love and deepest sympathy.
