Dan was diagnosed earlier this week with a cancerous spot in his brain. This is seemingly the same renal carcinoma that we battled a few years back when he had the kidney surgeries. He had some headaches last week and on Sunday April 4th we went to the ER with some slight changes in his walking and the headache remaining. They transferred him to UNC Chapel Hill on April 5th and varying physicians are attending to him there, including the oncologist he's been working with for some time now. The current plan is a series of radiation treatments starting next week that we hope will shrink the tumor. Debbie is by his side caring for him. , It is a bit challenging for her too respond to all inquiries so we will use this space to post updates so everyone can access them. We sincerely appreciate everyone's prayers and support. Thank you for caring for us.
