A life well live. He gave so much to me while we were at UT in Graduate School and in the years since. We would see each other on rare occasions, and we would pick up where we left off. His impact continues today as I reflect on this life and in his perspective towards cancer, his relationships on earth and his relationship with God. Thank you Dan for the gift you will always be. Blessed to have him part of my life. He points us to each other and go to God.

I connected thru Westlake sports, and we shared enthusiasm for Dani and other Westlake athletes. I’m sad for all of your family and cherish all the memories we have! Still sad!

Thank you for taking the time to let us all know of Dan's passing. Laurie your whole family are in our hearts and prayers. Dan is at peace in heaven with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Dan is an amazing man loving caring always thinking of others and the great faith he had with his Savior. You and his children were very blessed to have Dan. Wish I knew him more b4 the disease. Maybe Dan, my brother's Nathan and Seth and my Dad and Pops are praising God together with the rest of our soon to be eternal family. Like I said early, You are All in our Hearts and Prayers. Now Dan is So At Peace. Amen and God's Blessings to You All.

Laurie, thank you so very much for keeping all of us who are far away updated on Dan during his cancer journey. You're a trooper and a wonderful sister! We grieve with you and your family at his loss. I know he was believing for more days and years on this earth and that he wanted to glorify God through this. I can honestly say that he did glorify God and that he taught us all how to live by faith through this.....he also taught us how to die in faith. What a reception he must've had this morning!! Blessings! 💖💖💖

Laurie , Austin, and Dani ,

Prayers for you three and the entire family as you mourn Dan’s loss.

Hope you have Gods hand on each your shoulders as you all get through this trying times with Gods guidance coming through this as stronger and faithful individuals.

I personally worked with Dan since 2002 through various pursuits and projects. We both went to Purdue but not at the same time. Hope his faith in God finds him in place of comfort.

I attended with Dan several of the westake football and basketball games that Austin and Dani would be involved in. He was so proud of both of you and your accomplishments.

Laurie thank you for all that you have done for Dan , and the “extended family” keeping us updated in the posts. Reading your updates - you have redefined was family means and how important family is - especially a brother sister relationship. I can speak for many that knew Dan and cared for Dan - thank you for having the energy, spirit, faith and endurance in caring for Dan, Austin and Dani until is passing.

Very few people have inspired me as much as Snoop through his journey to heaven. I'm so sorry for your family and your sadness but Dan can now live in the presence of his Lord and Savior...forever.
