Daemian’s Story

Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting. Daemian was involved in a one car rollover accident on November 13th, 2020. He suffered trauma to his C1,C2, AND C6 vertebrae in his neck as well as trauma to his T1-T6 vertebrae in his upper back. He was placed in a halo vest to stabilize him and protect against further injury. He needs 24 hour care currently due to his injuries. He needs assistance with all daily life activities such as sitting/standing,walking, getting in/out of bed, eating/drinking, bathing and using the bathroom. While he continues to make miraculous improvements daily he has a long road to recovery ahead of him. He is anxious to continue his studies at school because his plans are to graduate high school early.  He also desires to get back to boxing. He now looks up to Vinny Pazienza. Paziencia is a boxer who also suffered a trauma very similar to Daemian. Daemian holds hope that with strength and determination he will be able to box again like Vinny Pazienza.

Daemian will start his physical therapy and occupational therapy on December 4th.  Prayers that he regains strength in his legs and arms quickly. He is anxious to get back to school work and boxing. He has goals to finish high school early and become a pro boxer. 💙
