Journal entry by Cynthia Smith

Over the past month I have had many sleepless nights over my diagnosis. Many prayers have been lifted up for me and thankfully those prayers were answered yesterday when the sarcoma specialist at Vanderbilt called to tell me that my tumor, that was originally diagnosed as soft tissue sarcoma, was not cancer . I have sbhwanoma, which is a benign tumor

that will need to be removed after the Covid-19 virus is over.  I feel that the weight of the world has been lifted from my shoulders.  I prayer that this pandemic is over soon.  I want to thank everyone for the prayers, calls and cards and words of encouragement.  I am blessed to have so many friends. I must give the glory to my Heavenly Father for giving me a cleared report. Apparently He isn’t finished with me yet and has plans for me.

Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
