My story began with several weeks of coughing and breathing issues.  I just blamed it on the pollen and my COPD.  After a month of continuous coughing I decided to visit my pulmonary doctor.  On May 2nd I went for my appointment to get something for this annoying coughing.  Dr. Witten ordered chest X-rays.  The result came back showing up something on one of my lungs.  Dr. Witten then ordered a CT Scan to find out exactly what was going on with my lungs.  On May 5th I had my CT Scan and on Monday, May 7th the results were in and I have a mass on my right lower lung. The next step is to find out how serious this mass is and on May 23rd I will have a biopsy.  In the mean time while we wait for this next step we are keeping a very positive outlook and we are not shedding any tears or looking for any pitty.  I am a strong and healthy woman and I will get through this with flying colors.
