Tina, I am part of the Larks birdwatching group and you and Curt did a bird walk at the farm property where I was living last summer in Snowden. I remember how friendly you both were and could feel the love between you and excitement for life you shared. I will be thinking of you both tomorrow as I cannot attend the celebration of life. I am wishing you healing.

Tina: I’m one of the birdwatching friends in the Larks group. I ran into you and Curt a couple of times out enjoying a bike ride. I am so very sorry for your profound loss. I can see the two of you in my minds eye, enjoying being outside, together, taking in nature’s beauty and blessings. May God’s light and love hold and comfort you. The birds are singing to you, friend. ❤️

So glad to read you have good friends out there to help you along. I wish we had thought to check the website you noted in your July email to us, but we didn’t and I totally regret that. It’s still a shock - Curt was a pretty tough guy and could do just about anything. Can’t believe he’s gone. You two were the right match. Peg and I consider you both sort of pioneers. Much love to you.

Dear Tina, Curt would be and was always very proud of you. And yes many times did he tell me how much he enjoyed your cooking. He would tell me of your early breakfast, how you would call him for lunch when he was working around your home and he always had a lunchbox with very carefully prepared little containers of your cooking. He did enjoy your food and tried very hard to eat it without an interruption. So be assured that just as you say "he was the best husband I could have ever dreamed of" you were also the best wife he could have dreamed of, his childhood sweetheart, and he did not keep that a secret from me. When I was in the dating world he would tell me how lucky he was to have Tina. The sentence that he wrote and rewrote is pure Curt. At work we had a board of pictures of us as young men, kinka a brag board, mostly old pictures of us in the service. Curt brought in a picture of you and him standing in the beach surf in your younger years, him in cut off blue jeans. I was told that picture still hangs today. He was a very proud husband.
What a wonderful gift we were given to know Curtis and someday we will understand why God called him home so early. But until God is ready to give us that understanding and calls us home we will just have to trust and have faith that The Almighty knows what was best for Curtis and what's best for us. Love Al and Stacy
