Hi everyone!  A couple of weeks ago, we were on our way to the hospital where my dad would have his chemo port removed. His phone rang and it was his oncologist. She wanted the liver surgeon at IU to take a look at my dad’s MRI to see if he needed to have the part of his liver removed, in order to reduce the risk of the cancer returning.  Today we went to the hospital and spoke with the liver surgeon.  He reviewed my dad’s latest MRI results  and told us there was absolutely no trace of cancer in my dad! The best news we could hear!!!! He told my dad to come back every 3 months to get scans so they can monitor him and ensure everything stays perfect. Again, we cannot thank you all enough for your prayers and support through this terrible time. We love you!!
