Hi Connor,
I came across your story through Twitter /X and wanted to reach out. I am from Milwaukee and I graduated nursing school from Marquette University back in 1989.
I’ve been practicing as a pediatric nurse, manager, and educator since then. While working in Seattle, I got Covid in early March 2020. This was before a mitigation. I was one of the first to alert the media about lingering symptoms. Like you, I developed dysautonomia/POTS as well as some other debilitating problems. I had to leave my nursing career that I loved.

I wanted to tell you how very sorry I am that you’re going through this. I’m sure you know there is a lot of attention to long Covid (compared with past infection associated illness) and so much empirical research on potential treatments.

If you ever want to talk over what’s going on, please know I understand. Feel free to message via X @jennifer_minhas

Wishing you strength to keep battling.

Best,
Jennifer
