Thank you for starting this CaringBridge page. I hope it makes the communication part of your journey a bit easier. Ah, dear Colton. Yes, something new or unknown can be scary. Lots of times, once we get past it, we realize it wasn’t so scary after all. I hope that’s true for you. And I know your Mom and Dad are with you to help you feel safe. I’m pulling for you! (I’m Jeff’s first cousin. Nona and my Mom were sisters.)
I have hesitated writing anything until now. This whole situation is heartbreaking and having gone through our loss of Dravin with you, even more so. Colton is so lucky to have the parents and sisters he has. You are always in my thoughts and heart. Together you will get through this. Colton's spice is such a good way for him to let off some of his own feelings and I am glad he expresses it. You have a strong family filled with love, there will be tough days ahead as he goes through his treatment. Know that you are not alone and I pray God puts his loving arms around you all fills you with strength, hope and courage for the days ahead. Love You All !!
Being brave isn't about not feeling scared.
Being brave is about what you do even when you do feel scared. Colton, we know you can do this with the help of family and friends. Sending hugs and prayers.
Colton. You are doing a great job. Your mom and dad are so proud of you. So are your sisters. They all love you so much. The treatment is painful but will sure help you. Remember to say your prayers. Ask Jesus for help when you feel scared or sick. He loves you so much. And is your friend.
