Mom had her post-op appointments with both the breast surgeon, and the plastic surgeon today. Both doctors say that she is healing very well, and that everything looks great. She had the chest drain tubes removed, and is bound to feel more comfortable without those dangling from her chest. Lab results found no other evidence of cancer in any of the removed tissue. So, now all she needs to do is recuperate.
Mom wants to thank each and every one of you for your love and support. You have been truly critically important in her healing. It takes a village to raise a child, and a village to survive cancer. Thank you, a thousand times, thank you.
