November 7, 2019
It has been three weeks since my surgery and I can honestly say I was a hermit during those first two weeks and it was fine with me. But I can also say that I definitely started feeling a lot better this Monday. I was able to stay focused all day and am doing more around the house. I have forayed outside the house a couple of times this week and it feels good, not great but I feel like I am definitely making progress.
Also, on the plus side, I have some great news to share and that is the doctor's assessment is correct, my endometrial cancer is only Stage 1. They were able to completely remove it. I will be following up with him on Nov. 20.
Thank you everyone for your kind words, cards, thoughts and prayers. It is all so much appreciated.
I did not know what to expect going in to this surgery. I have taken care of many family members recovering from surgery but going thru something like this has given me a deeper sense of what they were facing and dealing with. WOW!!!!
I am just feeling so grateful and blessed right now...
