Good Evening! So thrilled that all went well and you are on a path that will lead back to where you want to be! Allow all those wonderful people that surround you to love and support you. May the good fight continue. All the best.

Colleen-- Since I've retired from the P.D. position I don't get to LeCenter very often. And so I am out of the information loop. I learned of your medical challenges only yesterday (and then this computer neanderthal had to figure how to get to Caring Bridge). I did now read your post of April 10 and am very pleased that you are working with such marvelous Physicians. I have seen your courage and resilience and I know those strengths, your Doctors, and most of all the love of your amazing Family will carry you through. And please know that the constant prayers of this old Bohemian lawyer and hopefully friend will never cease. May God bless you in your struggle to regain your full health! Tony Nerud

Hi Judge King/Colleen :):)
I am so happy things are going so well for you!
We all miss you around here. The courthouse is more fun with your positivity and smiling face. You are on the road to recovery so let everyone take care of you a bit.
Also, Piper is the best! They are very thorough and do have very compassionate patient care.

So happy to hear that you don’t need to go through chemo! I have been thinking of you all this week. Reading this reminded me of a Facebook post I saw this week: “She believed she could, but she was tired. So she rested & you know what? The world went on and it was OK. She knew she could try again tomorrow. “

I will continue to send healing prayers your way. Glad to hear you have a care team that you love and trust. Be kind to yourself!

Colleen, these last 2 days will be remembered for my life time!!
The doctor visits and hearing positive news from them all. Treating ourselves to a wonder meal since we decided to stay the night at the Sheridan due to our spring snowstorm. Sleeping in and enjoying the morning in our awesome room. Patrick, you did well in picking it out for us.
My car coated with ice that seemed to take forever to remove. The drive home that challenged my driving skills, could not have done it without your expert guidance. Delivering you home safe and sound....so glad to finally park my car in the garage.
I feel privileged to be part of your awesome team. Your strength and courage amazes me and I am so proud to be your Mom. Love you so much......

Hi Colleen,
That is such good news, and very welcome to hear! You're a very good, articulate writer (not really surprised). A great summary, so glad you've been so well taken care of and loved. You know we feel deeply for you and wish you all the best for a speedy recovery. We would like to come and see you as soon as you feel up to it. We will get a motel room so no
hospitality worries. Let us know if you want anything from Wisco.
Love, Tom & Chris

That is awesome news Colleen! Take one day at a time and don't overdue it. You will be back to doing the things you love soon. Please let me know if there is anything I can do for you. I'm close if you need any running with the kids or anything at all. Take care!
