As you may or may not know, our friend Colleen DiCarlo had a very rough week last week. It started when she was having problems with her eye. She went to an ophthalmologist to try and get some answers.  He sent her to have an MRI to see if they could determine the source of the problem.  From there, things escalated rapidly.  She was sent to Delray Trauma Center where she underwent a series of testing.  To surmise, she was diagnosed with Stage 4 metastasized breast cancer that has spread into her liver, brain and bone.

Despite all of this shocking and unbelievable news, Colleen is in amazing spirits.  Prayers have been said from all across the country for her and her well-being.  Her sister Candy, a registered nurse, is by her side and guiding Colleen with all the medical jargon and decisions.  That is a miracle in itself.  Colleen has not stopped being her cheerful, upbeat and positive self through this entire process.  She has witnessed miracle after miracle in just the short time since this all started.

No definite plan of treatment has been made at this point.  We would ask you all to be on your knees and praying.  There will need to be many more miracles to bring Colleen back to full health. But we believe anything is possible with God and that he is by her side.

Keep checking for updates and other ways you can help Colleen through this most difficult time as the days ahead are going to be the most difficult.
