Journal entry by Marie Runnoe —
Colin is doing very well since being discharged. He had a second follow up appointment and they were impressed with the muscle mass he put back on his hands and the amount of movement he had. The doctor would like him to get laser therapy if insurance approves. It will help with the pins and needles feeling and the scarring. We picked up his "fitted" gloves that he's supposed to wear for the next year. They do not fit well and dig into the fresh new skin on the back of his hands. We are getting new ones sent but don't have high hopes for those as it was the same lady measuring. No more follow up appointments necessary unless we opt for the laser therapy.
