Dear Caitlin- thank you for your honesty. There is vulnerability in opening your heart, but healing will begin as well. Your absolutely right in that losing a child is so unnatural for a parent. It’s not supposed to happen in that order, in what we understand as the “cycle of life”. Please know this - we love you and your precious family and continue to lift you and Garrett up in prayer. We know our prayers for Colin weren’t answered the way we wanted and the “why’s” will last a lifetime. I am so sorry you have been called to walk this painful journey. I understand grief comes in overwhelming waves and takes your breath away. Don’t lose heart or faith. Grief is individual, but I hope you know you’re not alone in it.
