Journal entry by Nicki Lee Deans

I have to say, I haven’t been keeping up on here....
as things were going pretty good for Mom’s first round of chemo.  The only real side effect was her hair loss the first round. The Dr. visits had been good news, hearing the cancer had started to disappear and some shrank.  My Mom is strong, a fighter and she is so tough.
She was in a lot of pain a few weeks back, so she went and got an X-ray and she had ammonia and her cancer came back fast.  So, she decided to do chemo again.  And with such severe pain, was put on some pain meds.  It is so hard to see someone you love in so much pain.  💔 The chemo has not been as easy this last time around.  Mom went into the Dr. last week and the Dr. said the chemo is not working.  This is a real shock to all of us.

Please keep my Mom in your thoughts and Prayers.  She is doing her best to be the strongest she can.  Drop a note on her FB or in the mail of you’d like.  Or give her a call.  She’s been at home for so many months with the cancer, chemo and Covid...  she needs something to do! Things to look forward to!  People to chat with!  Ideas of things to do!  It’s so hard to have visitors with having a low immune system and all this going on.  So visitors were far n few between.  It’s a lonely and scary time for her.  Please send some love.

Please Pray for my Mom, Colette. 💓🙏🏼❤️
