It's been a while since I've posted anything!
Cole continues to stay in remission and his 3 year appointment in November was a turning point in his recovery. At 3 years, he is considered cured from Burkitt.
He continues to struggle with some of the long term side effects from treatment, but is in High School and growing and figuring out life just like any normal 9th grader.
Cole has been trying to find ways to give back. For a while, he needed a break from all things cancer and we made that space for him. This year, he has decided to collect money for Pennies for Patients, and has created a team for The Big Climb to support LLS as well. The climb is on Saturday and Cole, his brother Max, myself and our friends are climbing with us. We would love it if you join us or make a donation in Cole's name.
