If you want to you could ask for lidocaine cream. I always put that on my port site 30-60 minutes before infusions which helped them not hurt. I also would put a bottle cap (like Snapple or something) over the top of the cream so it would soak into my skin not the bandage or clothes. This also helped with the seat belt. And make sure to tell your Onc about his nausea…they may be able to prescribe better or different drugs to help with that. Sending good vibes your way ❤️
So glad that round one is done!!! You are doing an amazing job supporting him and anticipating what he may need. Fingers crossed the nausea stays away and he gets some rest soon.
