Clarissa, may I share one of my favorite stories from the OT with you? It's from I Kings 6: starting verse 15: Elisha's servant goes outside one morning and sees the city surrounded with the enemy; he goes in the house and says, "WE are Doomed, what can we do?"... Elisha prayed to God to open his servant's eyes; he goes back outside and sees God's army-more than the enemy, waiting to defend them.
Clarissa, when you go to therapy, visualize your prayer warriors holding you up in prayer; then go and give it your all. God is with you. I'll close with love and prayers.
Oh, Lori, tell Clarissa we are sorry to hear you had a urinary tract infection; that can really drain the body (and spirit) but you are over it so on to the next hurdle. You are never alone on your walk to full recovery. Wish you could see all your prayer warriors holding you up each day to God in prayer. We love you and your whole family, and prayer for each of you daily. I'll sign off with L&P.
Good evening, Clarissa and Lori! It was GREAT to see you both a couple of days ago! Lori, I know you are putting in a ton of hours being there as well as driving to and from St. Paul. Please try hard to get some quality rest so that you don't burn yourself out, OK?! And, Clarissa, I know that working with all of the different therapy staff is tiring for you. You, too, need some downtime to rest and recuperate. I hope you succeed in getting some! You've been working on your recovery for a while now -- and it shows! It's working! So keep it up; don't get discouraged, OK? Tough it out; continue to say your prayers; trust in the Lord. He has a plan and will work out everything to end up the way He wants it. Trust in Him! Keep up plugging away. You are always in my prayers. I'll see you again in a few days.
