I care. I understand. I wish I could carry you. After the grief there is joy. Somehow the love and joy can't be stolen. I pray everyday for you. I have walked and continue to walk this suffering without the life threatening part. I cling to the sacrament of the present moment. May God shower you with miraculous grace and mercy. When the joy returns, it smothers the suffering. He will hold you fast. (My favorite song).
Girl...you are such a blessing to all of us who are following & praying you through this journey you're on!! Your words are full of truth, struggles, pain, sadness, etc., and you're still able to sprinkle them with your great sense of humor (I love that about you). May God continue to bless, comfort, hold your hand and guide you through all your trials with cancer. Love you so much!! Praying for you always!!

Father in heaven, as Claire walks through these paradoxes of emotions that both buffer her and lift her up, thank You that she still clings to You. Surround her with Your powerful presence, and hold her close to Your great heart. Extend Your healing hand and not only remove all traces of cancer, but also diminish her symptoms from these treatments. May the truth of Psalm 34:18 be more real every day in our dear sister's life and daily experiences: "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted; he rescues those whose spirits are crushed." Thank You in advance for Your answers to all our prayers for Claire, in Jesus' Name. So be it.
