Thanks for posting what is happening with you. It may be instructional for me some day. My book says for mouth sores to brush and floss several times a day 30 min. after eating using a soft brush or gauze on a popsicle stick. Use instead of toothpaste 1 t. baking soda in 2 c. of water. Drink a large amount of fluids (2-3 Qts.) using a straw. Eat foods at room temperature or slightly warm. Good luck.

Hi Claire: I've struggled with mouth sores for years and take a prescription saliva stimulant, but I still occasionally get one. I find gargling with salt water helps heal them more quickly. Hang in there, sweetie. You're doing great!
