Each year when school started, I would be sitting at my desk and my phone would vibrate. I would look at it and the message would say “Would you let me in?” I knew who it was so I opened the door and there was CJ with your notebook that you forgot, or he brought you a coffee or he had something one of the kids forgot. He loved his family but he also loved his Lord. He was a good man. So it is easy to dedicate tomorrow, the first day of school, to CJ Sgro!!!

We think of CJ often. He sent us a Louisville Slugger as a gift for our increased sales with him a couple weeks before he passed and we have it mounted on the wall with his photo. He was a great friend and helped me get our business started and gave me incredible support, friendship and advice. You and your family continue to be in our prayers. The passage that always comes to mind is Micah 6:8 " He has told you, human one, what is good and what the Lord requires from you: to do justice, embrace faithful love, and walk humbly with your God." CJ will forever walk humbly with God.
