On this day, the 3rd anniversary of CJ passing on to his forever home with Jesus, I want to publicly honor and remember him.  CJ was the most selfless, loving, giving, amazing man you could ever have the pleasure to know.  I am eternally grateful for the 25 wonderful years of marriage I got to spend with him, building a life and raising a family.  CJ taught me so much about life and how to live and love well.  It was truly my honor and privilege to love and care for him for the rest of his life.  If you are following his CaringBridge page, then you were invested in CJ’s journey and cared about him and our family.  Thank you.  I humbly ask for prayers for our family as we continue to grieve and heal.  Help us to forge new paths and make new memories while always cherishing and holding dear our precious time with CJ.  I love and miss CJ every single day.  I talk to him and remember his beautiful smile that lit up the room and that infectious laugh that made everyone happy.  He was such a bright light!  I know CJ loved the Lord and now he resides in the Kingdom and that brings me peace! 
In honor of our sweet CJ and his generous spirit and servant's heart, give to someone in need today...a phone call to a lonely person, a listening ear to a struggling friend, a donation to a worthy cause...whatever it may be, let your light shine like CJ's did!  #CJStrong
