Hello all! It's been quite some time since Chris or I have posted here, so I thought I would give everyone an update. I had a follow-up visit with the neurosurgeon at the end of April who said all is going well. My scar has healed and I am getting stronger every day. The very cumbersome back brace is to be worn for 3 months so July 4th will certainly be a welcome "independence" day. I will have another follow-up visit with him next week. I have completed 7 out of 20 radiation treatments to my back with no complications or side effects. The oncologist ordered a sonogram of my heart which has been completed and also a port for chemotherapy treatment. The port will be placed next week so I expect chemo will start soon. The amount of doctor visits, tests and treatments has been rather daunting, but I'm hangin' in there. Both Zach and Blake are at home with us had have been a tremendous help with chores and chauffeuring. All of your thoughts and posts have been such a blessing and I ask that you continue to keep me in your prayers.
