Aimee, you have a great attitude and I know you will do all in your power to support your mom. I’ve been down this caregiver path four times, and while it will be hard, you will do it well. Remember, in order to support your mom the way you want to, you have to take care of yourself. Sleep, eat, play, and laugh. Ask tons of questions of the nurses & doctors & don’t hesitate to lean on them. They are angels on earth. Give your mom a hug for me. I hope I can get up to see her soon.
Your momma is in my prayers! I know you and Jake will need support all through this journey as much as your mom will, so don't be afraid to lean on your friends and family, when needed. Your mom may not have that fight in her yet, but she WILL. This is still shocking to everyone and she's still trying to process everything she's been told and what she will/may experience. I love you all
