Cindy’s Story

Site created on January 21, 2021

Cindy had a stroke in her right eye which she noticed because she couldn't see anything out of her eye. Thankfully she went to the ER right away on Jan 17.  She was
given a strong medication to hopefully open up her eye, but it didn't work and caused another stroke while she was in the ICU, to her frontal lobe (bleeding in the brain). She was able to stop the bleeding on her own and was released from the hospital yesterday. She is now home and Charlie is taking really great care of her. She got a great night's sleep and that made a huge difference for her cognitively. She is expected to have a full recovery but maybe a bit more forgetful. She is still smiling and joking and bossing around Charlie. She took a bath and washed her hair and is now sleeping. She is having headaches because of the blood in her brain but that should get better. Please send healing vibes. (We have noticed that 3 people have donated money to this site, (thank you) however we are not soliciting any further financial donations.)
