As you prepare for July 4th, I know that with your spirit, warmth, smile, for all who surround you will be a celebration of Cindy also. Thank you for all your kindnesses and happy environment. This being my first post for you, as probably so many before me, I want you to know how much you are missed. It is a pleasure to get in line behind your supporting prayer chain pack. You are a wonderful person to know. Blessings this day and beyond.

Cindy,

This is George.. when i heard the news, i did not know what to say. I do know that my family is praying daily for your recovery. My best advice is to make sure the disease does not define you. I know it will be hard , but make sure you eat to maintain your immune system. I know the food does not taste good,, but eat it any way. Protein is important, so if you don't already have some, get plenty of those Ensure protein shakes. They come in handy when you can’t eat any more protein. That salt rinse they tell you about, make sure you use it regularly. I know you will not feel like it, but exercise is important. Put your mask on and walk, even if it is only to the end of the block and back. My recovery would have been shorter if i had exercised, because i had to take time to build back muscles. The anti nausea medication they give you is your friend. Take it when they tell you. Finally also, rest. It helps your body fight.

I wanted to tell you that our family will never forget your kindness with my father. You are a caring wonderful person and were a terrific boost to his self image at a critical time.

Please know we are all thinking of you.

George, Mary, Kelly, Nicole, and Elisabeth
