Journal entry by Amy Johnson

Mom has had a rough couple of weeks since being home, she feels like crud all of the time, which is starting to wear on her.  We knew going in she wasn't going to feel good for quite some time, so this was expected.  But we all know mom, she's not one to just lay around, she is always busy with something, so I understand how hard this is for her.  She hasn't been sleeping the greatest either, which I know isn't helping.  She is still having a hard time finding things that sound good to eat, so I know taking the amount of pills she does on an empty stomach isn't helping either.  On the upside all of her blood counts have been good, right where they should be!!  She has to travel to Madison every Tuesday to see her doctor & then can have her labs done here in La Crosse on Friday's.  She doesn't look forward to the trips to Madison, it is way too long of a day for her.  Hopefully my next entry will have more positive things to report, but this is the reality for now, we just have to take it one day at a time.
Please continue to keep her in your prayers, praying that she will start feeling better and more like herself with each new day.
