Chuck’s throat is better and he is thankful! but continues to just "not feel well", and is so thankful for everyone's prayers and cards!  He continues to say, "My life is in God's Hands." God's Word is powerful and as we take time to share Hezekiah's life we see a bigger picture in Who our God is. When we first discovered Chuck had stage 4 cancer we wept and we prayed just as Heezekiah did. This past 19 months we have worshiped with a new attitude understanding every day here is a gift to glorify God and not to be taken for granted.

We know God hears when he went before the Lord He heard and told him he will heal him!  In 2 Kings 20:4-6 Isaiah was told to tell him God has heard his prayer and seen his tears! “I, God, will heal you and three days from now you will get out of bed and go to the Temple of the Lord.  I will add fifteen years to your life and I will rescue you!” God’s people were in trouble and God said: (vs 6-7):“I will deliver you and this city from the hand of the king of Assyria. I will defend this city for My own honor and for the sake of My servant David”

As we read closer we see that God's purpose and promise to David also has a place in His decision to heal.  God knows the big picture in our lives.
God always hears the prayers of the broken in heart, and will give health, length of days, and deliverances, as much and as long as this is according to His will.

The first place Hezekiah went was to the Temple of the Lord to give thanks!  We must keep our focus and confidence that our lives are in God’s Hands.  He knows when Chuck’s work is done here on earth.  In this case God’s people were in need of Hezekiah’s life to rescue them.

Today we will choose to trust God and His ways are best!  We will continue to pray for healing and opportunities to serve God here longer and better.  Please take encouragement that we have freedom in knowing God knows best so will live today for Him!   https://youtu.be/m5ZXsV3ZA-M
